Account Deletion

Delete your Faro account.

Faro is provided by StudioJson. This page explains how to delete your account and request deletion of account-linked data.

Delete your account in the app

To delete your Faro account:

  1. Open Faro.
  2. Go to Preference.
  3. Find the Account section.
  4. Tap Delete account.
  5. Confirm the deletion.

The in-app deletion flow deletes the signed-in Faro account through the account deletion service.

Request account deletion by email

If you cannot use the in-app deletion flow, you can request account deletion by emailing support@meetfaro.app from the email address linked to your Faro account.

Faro does not currently provide a separate self-service flow for deleting selected account-linked data while keeping the account active.

Data deleted

When your account is deleted, Faro deletes or de-identifies account-linked data that is no longer needed, such as:

  • account profile data;
  • device records;
  • consent records;
  • synced usage summaries, rest records, preset records, and related insight data;
  • account-linked product analytics events and summaries where no longer needed;
  • entitlement state and other account-linked service records where no longer needed.

Local data on your device may remain until you uninstall the app or clear app data from Android settings.

Data that may be retained

Some limited records may be retained where required or permitted for legal, security, fraud prevention, payment dispute handling, accounting, subscription entitlement verification, refund handling, or abuse prevention.

These retained records may include limited purchase, entitlement, trial, refund, fraud-prevention, or hashed eligibility records. Faro keeps such records only for as long as reasonably needed for those purposes.
